Bubble sheet scanner that grades MCQ exams from your phone

MCQ Grade turns any phone into a bubble sheet scanner. Print your own answer sheets, scan them with the camera, and get instant scores, statistics and printable score slips — built for university instructors.

Print your own bubble sheets

Generate answer sheets for any class and exam — 6-digit student ID grid, name box, and up to 100 questions. No pre-printed forms to buy.

Scan with any phone camera

Point your phone at the sheet and MCQ Grade reads it instantly. Continuous mode lets you scan a whole stack of papers one after another.

Instant scores and item analysis

See each student's score in exam marks, class average, high and low, plus per-question difficulty and distractor breakdowns that flag tricky questions.

Review only what needs review

Single marked answers are scored automatically — even faint pencil marks. Only questions with two or more filled bubbles are held for a quick check.

Works in your language

Full interface in English, Arabic, French and Spanish, with right-to-left support for Arabic classrooms.

Private by design

Sheets are read on your device — photos of student papers are never uploaded. Your classes, rosters and results stay in your account.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need special paper or a special scanner?

No. Print the generated answer sheets on plain A4 paper with any printer, and scan them with your phone's camera. There is nothing extra to buy.

How does the bubble sheet scanner read student IDs?

Each sheet has a 6-row digit grid. Students fill one bubble per row to encode their 6-digit student number, and write it in the boxes above as a backup. You can also upload a roster spreadsheet to match numbers to names automatically.

What happens if a student marks two answers?

The sheet is flagged for review. The answer that counted is circled in green and the ignored one in red, so you can confirm or correct it in one tap before saving.

Can I export results?

Yes. Export scores as a CSV spreadsheet, or print compact student score slips showing marked versus correct answers with a class summary.
